INITIAL MEETING: Determining scope of the project

Assessment of personal style, family lifestyle/function, design aesthetic, and special objectives
Site visit of project space
Review of architectural parameters
Discussion of scheduling and budget

LAYOUT DEVELOPMENT: Initial floor plan concept presentation and selection

Presentation of floor plan options(s)
Appliance placement discussion

DESIGN DEVELOPMENT: Selection of style options

Presentation of selected floor plan, perspective drawings and quote
Review and selection of cabinetry style options - wood type, wood color, door style and accessories
Selection of additional items (see additional fee based services)

FINALIZATION OF DETAILS: Final decisions before order is placed

Presentation of final drawings
Finalize selections

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION: Chai Design coordinates all details with key players

Creation of final drawings and installation detail documents
Communication of all delivery and installation details to all parties
Coordinate and oversee cabinetry delivery
Supervise installation of cabinetry from start to finish

A NOTE ABOUT CHAI DESIGN’S SERVICES

Chai Design provides floor plan development and cabinetry design services. Each project begins with a complimentary initial meeting followed by a presentation of floor plan and design concept. By selecting Chai Design as your cabinetry provider, you will automatically be provided the services listed throughout the design process. Should you wish to contract services separately from cabinetry, such as floor plan design or selection of countertops, flooring, etc., these would be considered additional fee based services.
